Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Stories of Strength and Hope Volume 1
Intro to meeting Karen Kruse!
By Timeless Nebraska Media
October is more than a month marked with pink ribbons and awareness campaigns. It is a time to reflect, support, and honor those who have been touched by breast cancer. Behind every statistic, there is a name. Behind every diagnosis, there is a story. And behind every fight, there is hope.

At Timeless Nebraska Media, we are a real estate photography/media business that sees beauty in the stories homes can tell. One day, I came across a house so thoughtfully decorated for Breast Cancer Awareness that it immediately intrigued me. I left a note on the owner’s mailbox, and that small gesture led to a new friendship with Karen Kruse, the inspiring woman we feature in our very first story of this series.
This October, we wanted to take the month as an opportunity to do more than acknowledge Breast Cancer Awareness Month—we wanted to celebrate the women whose strength and courage inspire us all. These are women who continue to fight, to rise each day with resilience, and to hold on to hope even when the journey is difficult. We deeply admire them not only for their perseverance but also for the light they continue to carry for themselves and others.
Timeless Nebraska Media is dedicating a special blog series this October to share four incredible stories of hope from women who embody courage, love, and unwavering faith in the face of cancer.
Each week, you will meet one of these remarkable women. Their stories are not defined by illness but by strength, compassion, and the reminder that hope can flourish even in the darkest seasons. Through their words and experiences, we believe readers will find encouragement, perspective, and a renewed appreciation for the human spirit.

This is more than a series; it is a tribute. A tribute to fighters, survivors, and those still walking this path with grace and determination. By sharing these stories, we hope to inspire conversations, spread awareness, and remind every reader, especially those fighting this disease that there is hope!
We invite you to follow along in the coming weeks as we release these stories. Share them, talk about them, and carry their hope with you. Let’s use this month not just for awareness, but also for connection and celebration of the women who show us what resilience truly looks like.
To the women we are honoring, and to all those fighting, this is for you.
Hugs and much love,
Suzanne
